7. Operation Guidelines: Installation, Storage, Maintenance & Safety Warnings
7.1 Installation Standard
- 1. Screw Fixing
- • Wrong operation: Screw tightly attached to plate without expansion washer; screw inserted obliquely into sheet; over-tightened screws by electric screwdriver.
- • Correct operation: Match expansion washer to reserve thermal expansion gap; screw vertically into the plate; control screwdriver torque to avoid over-tightening.
- 2. Thermal Expansion Hole Design
Drill hole diameter should be 20%–30% larger than screw diameter to reserve expansion space for thermal expansion and contraction of PC material. - 3. Cutting Requirements
Available cutting tools: Fixed/portable circular saw with hardwood blade, short-tooth jigsaw with universal blade.
Slow feeding during cutting; prevent cutting dust from entering hollow cavities of the sheet.
7.2 Storage & Transportation Rules
- • Keep packages flat during storage and transit.
- • Avoid direct sunlight and rain soaking.
- • Do not peel surface protective film before installation to prevent scratches.
7.3 Cleaning & Maintenance Rules
- • Strictly forbid organic solvent cleaning.
- • Wipe with soft cloth + clean water; diluted neutral detergent is allowed for stubborn stains.
7.4 Safety Precautions
- 1. Forbidden to use under open flame or ambient temperature above 120°C.
- 2. Keep protective film intact until construction is fully finished.
- 3. Long-term outdoor direct sunlight may cause sheet deformation and discoloration.
- 4. Do not stack heavy goods on sheet surface.
- 5. All cut panels must be fully fixed; foam buffer pads are recommended for protection.
