PolyReed is an eco composite panel made of Covestro/SABIC polycarbonate hollow sheets with UV anti-aging coating, with fumigated mildew-proof reed stalks filled inside cavities. It combines PC’s weather resistance and reed’s natural texture, delivering soft light transmission, privacy and rustic aesthetic, ideal for courtyard canopies, indoor partitions and sunshades.

3. Matching Supporting Accessories
PC U/H profiles, aluminum splicing profiles, aluminum foil sealing tape, gasketed self-tapping screws, neutral silicone sealant.
4. Installation & Usage Rules
- Storage: Cool dry warehouse, avoid sunlight, rain and direct contact with concrete ground.
- Sealant: Only neutral silicone glue allowed; acid/alkali glue voids warranty.
- Cutting: Clean internal sawdust after cutting, seal panel ends with tape or PC edge trims.
- Fixation: Panels ≤2m can use gasketed screws; outdoor panels over 2m must be fixed via profiles without surface drilling, custom width 0.7m.
- Environment: Anti-acid & alkali prohibited, cannot touch cement or corrosive gas surroundings.
5. Design Origin & Advantages
Derived from a 2018 DIY creative concept, it balances translucency, privacy and natural texture. Reed filling softens harsh sunlight into mottled light and shadow, avoids tedious maintenance of pure natural reed materials, complements PC sheet’s rigidity and offsets reed’s poor light permeability.
