Polysnake sheet is a high-performance panel manufactured from polycarbonate raw materials. It features multiple outstanding properties and is widely used in greenhouses, architectural daylighting, carports, awnings and other scenarios. Detailed specifications are listed as follows:

1. Product Features
- Premium Raw Materials
The sheet is produced exclusively with Covestro and Sabic polycarbonate pellets, without any recycled or regrind materials to guarantee stable product quality. - Superior UV Resistance
A high-concentration co-extruded UV protective layer is applied only on the panel surface instead of mixed into base resin, greatly extending service life and supporting a 10-year quality warranty. The product passed 10,000-hour accelerated aging test with better results than industry benchmarks. Relevant test data are shown in the table below:
| Test Item | Test Condition | Polysnake Test Result | Industry Standard Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yellowing Index | 2,000-hour aging test | 2.5 | ≤ 3 |
| Light Transmittance | 10,000-hour aging, 6mm double-layer clear sample | 69.8% | No specified standard |
| Haze Value | 10,000-hour aging, 6mm double-layer clear sample | 69.5% | No specified standard |
- Adjustable Light Transmittance
Excellent light transmission performance; transmittance can be customized per client demand. Light transmittance remains nearly 70% after 10,000-hour aging. - Lightweight & High Mechanical Strength
Low weight and high rigidity to satisfy diverse structural design requirements of buildings. - Thermal Insulation
Effective heat preservation and insulation to improve energy efficiency of buildings. - High Deflection Resistance
The continuous S-shaped internal ribs enhance deflection capacity compared with standard hollow sheets of identical thickness, delivering superior wind and snow load resistance. Its minimum bending radius equals 250 times the sheet thickness, suitable for flat-slope roofs, wall claddings and curved roof structures.

2. Standard Dimensions
| Thickness | Optional Internal Structures | Standard Width Options | Standard Length | Customization Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| 6mm | Double-layer / Four-layer | 1.05m / 1.22m / 2.1m | 6m | Custom width & length available |
| 8mm | Double-layer | 1.05m / 1.22m / 2.1m | 6m | Custom width & length available |
| 10mm / 12mm | Double-layer / Four-layer | 1.05m / 1.22m / 2.1m | 6m | Custom width & length available |
| 16mm | Four-layer / M-shaped grid structure | 1.05m / 1.22m / 2.1m | 6m | Custom width & length available |
| 18mm / 20mm / 25mm | Undefined internal structures | 1.05m / 1.22m / 2.1m | 6m | Custom width & length available |

3. Product History
The S-shaped hollow sheet was first patented by Taiwan Zhengcheng Industrial Co., Ltd. of China on July 4, 2006. The patent expired ten years later, opening up relevant manufacturing technologies to domestic manufacturers.
Overseas, Switzerland NOTZ developed the same product in 2007 and named it Polysnake. Later, manufacturers including Chile Polygal joined mass production of this panel type.

4. Product Appearance & Craft Options
- Rich Color Palette
Available color options: bright red, grass green, orange, lemon yellow, royal blue, lake blue, black, clear, opal white, etc. Outdoor and indoor renderings of all color variants are provided. - Diverse Surface Finishes
Matte finish is optional, with architectural renderings taken from top-down and worm’s-eye views, as well as real-site installation photos for reference.

5. Product Certifications & Compliance
Combustion Performance
Class HB horizontal flammability rating, fully compliant with test criteria: after ignition source removal, no persistent flaming combustion, and flame front does not exceed the 100mm marking line.
