Specifications for Packaging, Transportation and Storage of Polycarbonate Sheet
Marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for polycarbonate sheet are specified in standard JGT 116-2012 Polycarbonate Sheet.
- 1. Marking
Marks including product designation, trademark and production date shall be displayed on the protective film of polycarbonate sheet. The marks shall be clear and durable, and preferably printed on the protective film. - 2. Packaging
Each polycarbonate sheet shall be wrapped with PE film. Products for long-distance transportation shall adopt special packaging solutions. - 3. Transportation
During transportation, polycarbonate sheets shall not be thrown, subjected to heavy load or collision. They shall be kept clean and prevented from contact with corrosive media. Handle with care during loading and unloading to ensure product integrity. - 4. Storage
Polycarbonate sheets shall be stored indoors in dry and ventilated conditions. Storage temperature shall not exceed 60°C. Stack height shall not be more than 2 meters. Uniform wooden supports shall be placed underneath with spacing no greater than 1 meter, and each support shall be at least 80 mm wide.
Do not store polycarbonate sheets together with corrosive substances; keep them away from heat sources. Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure to sunlight and rain.
